Fab Tek is pleased to be starting on the new Green project that we mentioned in a previous post. We will be working with John Wayland, aka “Plasma Boy” of White Zombie fame, converting his 2000 Honda Insight from a Hybrid, to a fully Electric Vehicle. The state of the art Dow Kokam battery pack arrives in Portland today, and all of us on the Plasma Boy/Fab Tek build team are very excited. The range goal for this EV is 400 miles, with AC power providing the drive. Stay tuned as things progress, as we will begin to post photos of the build.
