The Western Racing Series is pleased to announce that “The Shop on Canyon” located in Beaverton, OR has come on board as the headline sponsor for the WRS event at Cottage Grove Speedway in Cottage Grove, OR to be held on July 25, 2009.

Thanks to “The Shop” the purse will be as follows:

1. 1st: 500
2. 2nd: 400
3. 3rd: 350
4. 4th: 300
5. 5th: 250
6. 6th: 200
7. 7th: 150
8. 8th: 100
9. 9th: 75 (on back)

And as always, “The TPR Dash for Cash” pays $100. to win! Please note per WRS rules, in order to qualify for points and/or purse monies, race participants must be paid, registered members of the WRS. All race entries that are not paid, registered members, will be allowed to race, but will only receive $75 no matter where they finish.

This is a once annually registration fee and qualifies the racer for all WRS events this season.
